The Land Trust for Tennessee is an American non-profit organization, dedicated to protecting Tennessee’s natural, scenic and historic landscapes and sites forever. Since it was founded in 1999 by Jean C. Nelson and former Nashville Mayor (1991-1999) and Governor (2003-2011) Phil Bredesen, The Land Trust has conserved nearly of land in Tennessee. The organization’s principal office is in downtown Nashville, office and outdoor work space at Glen Leven Farm in Nashville and a regional office in Chattanooga, Tennessee.〔 The Land Trust is a fully accredited member of The Land Trust Alliance. ==Protected lands==
